The Martin County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) raced to the Cedar Pointe Condominium Complex on East Ocean Boulevard following reports of a shooting at about 3:18 p.m. on Saturday. The 70-year-old woman, Maya Murmu, was attacked by the wild elephant as she walked to collect water in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district, Indian news outlet The Print reported.
