TikTok user and Avon representative Dee Graham, or @deegraham43, shared a video that included a clip of a woman talking about being a victim of domestic abuse before Graham told her viewers to contact their local Avon representative for help.
The TikTok video seems to have been removed from Graham’s page but is still circulating on Twitter.
The Claim
In her video, Dee Graham claimed that Avon will relocate victims of domestic abuse. The video was shared on Twitter by @btaylorbeautyy.
In the video, Graham says: “You don’t have anything to be ashamed of. I’m going to tell you something a lot of you ladies don’t know. I’ve been married 27 years, I’ve been with my husband 30 years. I was a military wife, I sold Avon on every base. Every base I would get to I would be the new Avon lady.
“You want to know why? Go to your nearest Avon representative and let her see your face. Avon will relocate you anywhere. All they ask is that you remain safe. Just go to an Avon rep. They may not know, just tell them to tell their district manager. They will move you.”
Many social media users are wondering why they did not already know that this was an option while sharing the video with the intention of helping others.

Avon USA told Newsweek that the information in the TikTok video is false.
Avon said: “Avon has been empowering women for 135 years and we are proud to support many causes that have women and their families at the heart. While Avon has supported domestic violence organizations in the past, we do not directly provide services for domestic abuse survivors.
“The information in the recent social media video is false and we are sorry for the confusion. Avon Representatives are independent business owners and not employees of Avon. Their private actions and social media posts are not reviewed or condoned by Avon.
“We encourage anyone who needs help to contact the National Domestic Violence Hotline. Visit https://www.thehotline.org/ or call 1.800.799.SAFE.”
