One of the most well-known and exciting tracks on the calendar, the return of Japan’s showpiece race will be received well by fans worldwide given its usual entertaining and action-packed nature.
This year’s edition could also see the crowning of a Formula One world champion as Red Bull’s Max Verstappen looks to seal consecutive titles on Sunday.
After failing to take the crown last time out in Singapore after a P7 finish, the Dutchman will instead look to claim victory in Japan which would prove fitting given Red Bull’s partnership with Japanese manufacturers Honda.
There’s numerous ways in which Verstappen could seal title glory at Suzuka, the easiest of which would be if he wins the race and rival Charles Leclerc can’t manage to finish P2.
Equally, if Verstappen wins the race and claims the extra point for fastest lap, he’ll be crowned world champion for a second year running irregardless of where other drivers on the grid finish.
