In the third and final episode of this season’s #ItsAaron series, Rodgers shined a light on another great non-profit when he surprised four children who attended Camp Hometown Heroes, a week-long summer camp free to children who’ve lost loved ones in the U.S. military. He did that by surprising three sisters, Alexis, Starr and Kylee, along with a young man, Dylan, who lost parents in service of the U.S. military. The three young ladies lost their father, Specialist Grant Dampier. Dylan lost his father, Staff Sargeant Chad Simon, when he was 6 years old. This is their story.

While the three young ladies didn’t really know who Rodgers was, young Dylan was obviously excited.

Young Kylee, meanwhile, is pretty straight up with Rodgers about her football fandom. It’s adorable.

As Dylan notes, they’re trying to raise funds to spread the camp to other locations. It’s certainly a cause worth a second look so more kids can benefit from this positive experience. Learn more on Rodgers’ site, ItsAaron.com, created in conjunction with gruber-law.com.

Rodgers: Are you not a fan of football?

Kylee: Not really. There’s too much going on.
