Ex Nfl Player S House On The Market Includes One Cool Million Dollar Pool

Former NFL defensive back Asante Samuel’s Florida mansion — including, among other amenities, a $1 million swimming pool — is on the market for a cool $9.5 million (but if you’ve got to ask …), the Los Angeles Times reported.

According to the newspaper’s “Hot Property” page, the pool — part of the property in Southwest Ranches, Fla., north of Miami — is “[d]esigned for large-scale entertaining. The 140,000-gallon pool is highlighted by a saltwater filtration system, a water slide, a geyser feature, a beach entry and a 25-person grotto “complete with flat-screen televisions, a hot tub, a fire pit and party pavilion. Surrounding custom LED lighting, tropical landscaping and pavers complete what is a million-dollar setting, according to listing agent Ben Moss of One Sotheby’s International Realty.”

Samuel bought the nearly five-acre Florida estate in 2008 for $2.375 million, according to records cited by the TImes. The home and to-die-for pool were completed in 2013, his final season in the NFL.

Samuel, who played collegiately at Central Florida, played 11 seasons for the Patriots, Eagles and Falcons.
