A preseason All-SEC selection, he had 12 catches for 147 yards and a touchdown in five games this season. He had 45 catches for 730 yards and five touchdowns last season after arriving as a junior college transfer.
The last straw in his up-and-down time at Auburn came early this month when Williams reportedly punched four people at a bar after Auburn’s 35-21 homecoming win against San Jose State.
