Space Force and 365 Days have also spent some time in the Top 10, but the rest of the list is new to viewers, meaning this weekend is full of fresh opportunities for laughs, deep storylines and even a bit of fear.
Here’s what Netflix users can’t stop watching this week, and what the Internet has to say about each.
1. 365 Days
Don’t watch this film with your parents seems to be the number one takeaway from Twitter users obsessed with 365 Days. The sexy kidnapping film is ultra NSFW, so you’ll want to choose your movie buddy carefully. Conversations online continue to return to how shocking the film is, as it’s said to cross lines not often flirted with in film.
2. 13 Reasons Why
The final episodes of this teen drama are now streaming, and love it or hate it, internet users claim they’re binging it just to see the end. 13 Reasons Why first premiered in 2017, and was shrouded in controversy. The show, which details suicide, had a gory death scene that has since been removed.
3. The Order
A second season of this dark adventure series just launched on Netflix, and fans are thrilled. A college student pledges a secret society called the Hermetic Order of the Blue Rose. It’s somewhat predictable, but entirely out of this world. Suddenly, student Jack is in the middle of a world of monsters, werewolves and magic.
4. Mr. Iglesias
Part 2 of this classroom comedy just aired. Gabriel Iglesias is the self-named lead who tries his best to positively influence his history class. Like any sitcom, laugh tracks, surprises and wholesome moments are abundant.
5. Space Force
Steve Carell’s latest comedy has held a place on the big board since it premiered in late May. Though Netflix users are split on if the comedy is worth watching, it seems most subscribers have at least dabbled in the series. It follows Carell leading the newest branch of the military, Space Force.
6. Avatar: The Last Airbender
Avatar: The Last Airbender is reigning as an all-time favorite on Netflix, as it consistently places in the Top 10. Fans of the series seem to be mostly adults who watched the show as children and young adults and still find it clever and important. The action-packed adventure series is great for kids or adults.
7. Da 5 Bloods
This new Spike Lee film focuses on a group of African American veterans who travel back to Vietnam in hopes of recovering the remains of their squad leader. But there’s a twist: they also hid treasure while in war they hope to recover, too. The film is said to present a great look into black history.
8. F Is For Family
This raunchy, animated comedy is a Netflix original with major success. Season 4 of the show just aired, and new laughs are on the horizon. Frank’s dad visits, the fourth-grade play unfolds and Sue is very pregnant in the new episodes.
9. Magnetic
If you’re a fan of extreme sports, Magnetic is for you. This documentary film follows a handful of wild adventurers who seek out the biggest waves in the world to surf. Not only is it dangerous, but the passionate surfers record epic footage of their encounters while trying to set world records.
10. Alexa & Katie
This feel-good family show follows two friends in high school as one of them battles cancer. The fourth part just premiered, though, and things are more lighthearted than ever as Alexa and Katie start to think about college applications, senior prom and graduation. Part 4 marks the final season, so Netflix users can watch it in entirety now.
