BTS is scheduled to take part in a one-off free concert titled “BTS in Busan” on October 15.

Members of BTS’s fanbase, which calls itself 100,000 ARMY, will be able to attend the concert in person at the Busan Ilkwang Special Stage in Gijang, in northern Busan, and it is to begin at 6:00 p.m. local time (4:00 a.m. ET).

BTS’s concert is also expected to be screened simultaneously on a large screen that will be installed in a car park at Busan Port International Passenger Terminal.

This Live Play event is also expected to be free, and a total of 10,000 fans are to be able to watch the show at the makeshift venue.

In addition to these two in-person events, BTS’s “Yet to Come” concert will also be livestreamed for fans around the globe on Weverse, Zepeto, and Naver Now.

Tickets for the two in-person events will be available to reserve on Interpark, and further information about how to watch the concert’s online livestream will be provided in due course.

In June, the BTS members appointed official ambassadors for Busan’s World Expo 2030 bid, and at the time HYBE’s chairman Bang Si-hyuk shared a press statement about the venture.

Bang said: “Given the importance of its bid as a nation to host the World Expo 2030 in Busan, BTS and HYBE will do our best to successfully bring the World Expo to Busan.

“This will be a great opportunity to contribute to further development of K-Culture as well as its local pop cultures in Busan.”

The mayor of Busan Metropolitan City, Park Heong-joon, said in his own press statement: “I’d like to express my sincere appreciation to the members of BTS and HYBE for accepting to be the ambassadors of the World Expo 2030 in Busan.

“The group’s support as ambassadors will be incredibly helpful in stepping up our efforts to bring the World Expo to Busan.”
