Ten new bachelors and bachelorettes will be candidates for marriage in the Natsume DLC, and we know a little bit of backstory for each before the game officially launches.
Harvest Moon: One World players will only be able to choose from one of five singles of the opposite sex, according to a press release from Natsume. That’s something to consider when choosing your gender at the start of the game.
Bios for the 10 starting singles were shared by Natsume and Screenrant, but there’s already news of an expansion pack (the Far East Adventure Pack, which will be released for download on March 23) that features an additional male and female single, named Shogen and Sana. Nothing is known about the two additional love interests, except that they’ll be part of the $12.99 expansion pack when it opens another map location.
Until then, here are the 10 singles you can expect to meet as you travel across the Harvest Moon: One World map.
Bachelorettes
Ahina
Where she lives: Halo Halo
Characteristics: Ahina is extremely talkative and energetic. She has a passion for food and drink, specifically coffee, which may explain why she has so much energy every time you meet her.
Gabrielle
Where she lives: Calisson
Characteristics: Gabrielle isn’t your typical girlfriend. She’s actually a witch, though she has a day job as a vet. With a love of animals, Gabrielle is said to be sweet yet somewhat flaky.
Krisi
Where she lives: Salmiakki
Characteristics: One of the smartest suitors is Krisi, a teacher and archeologist. She’s passionate about education and may not come across as bubbly, but that doesn’t mean she’s not caring.
Laura
Where she lives: Lebkuchen
Characteristics: One of the game’s introverts, Laura is expected to have a “memory disorder” which may influence her identity and relationships.
Malika
Where she lives: Pastilla
Characteristics: Malika is a free spirit with a love of animals, music, water and flirting. It’s up to you, farmer, to decide if her jokes are witty or plain cruel.
Bachelors
Braden
Where he lives: Calisson
Characteristics: Braden is a farmer who may not give off the kindest first impression. He has a lot on his plate, trying to keep his animals healthy. But once you get to know him, the most muscular bachelor may be the perfect fit for your gameplay.
Jamil
Where he lives: Pastilla
Characteristics: Similarly to Braden, Jamil has a soft spot for animals and caring for them. His animal obsession causes him to be a bit aloof at times, but apparently, it comes off as endearing.
Kanoa
Where he lives: Halo Halo
Characteristics: Kanoa takes inspiration from his easy breezy island life. He’s said to be a very calm and non-confrontational love interest who may help you slow down and enjoy nature.
Sami
Where he lives: Salmiakki
Characteristics: Sami has a stressful life ahead, as he’s about to become the leader of Salmiakki. He has a true passion for the people of his town and puts his strongest foot forward, even in romantic conversations.
Tristan
Where he lives: Lebkuchen
Characteristics: Family life is everything to Tristan. From baking with his father for a living to watching over his dear sister, most of his life revolves around connection and love for others.
Harvest Moon: One World will be released on Nintendo Switch, PS4 on March 2. In January, Natsume also confirmed the game will be released on Xbox One in the U.S., but no formal release date has been announced.
