Fresh off winning five gold medals and a silver at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Michael Phelps posted a picture of himself in a pool with his son, Boomer, and fiancée, Nicole. The Maryland native who now lives in Arizona said in his Instagram post, “There’s nothing like being back home.”
Phelps’ medal haul from Rio give him an Olympic-record 23 gold medals and an all-time high of 28 total medals over four Olympic Games.

Phelps may have announced last year that the Games of the XXXI Olympiad would be his last as a competive swimmer, but clearly he can’t stay out of the water.
