This revelation came after Bouchard was dumped out in the first round 7-6 (7-3), 6-4 by world No. 117 Duan Ying-Ying, a match in which Wimbledon officials assessed Bouchard a dress-code violation for wearing a black sports bra — underneath her white sports bra, USA Today reported.

Photos of Bouchard during the match showed the black straps barely peeking out from beneath the white straps.

Tuesday’s developments were a continuation of what has been a miserable year for Bouchard, who lost to Petra Kvitova in the 2014 Wimbledon final. She has won only eight times on tour this year and has lost eight of her last 10 matches.

Tuesday’s stats indicated she wasn’t 100 percent. She put only 55 percent of her first serves in play and committed 10 double faults, which more than trumped her four aces.

According to The National Post, she said doctors told her that it “probably wouldn’t have been so smart to play here, but I couldn’t pass on Wimbledon. So I did kind of minimal preparation to save myself for the match.”
