Bates and Williams will be eligible to play for ETSU immediately. Jurkin, a 7-foot center, must sit out the 2014-15 season due to NCAA transfer rules before playing for ETSU in 2015-16.

Jurkin played three games for Indiana in 2012-13 and eight games in 2013-14. In a school release Wednesday announcing the moves, ETSU coach Murry Bartow said that “in my 11 years here at ETSU, we’ve never had anyone like Peter in our program.”

Bates, a 6-9 forward, played 10.7 minutes per game for Tennessee State last season. Williams, a 6-5 wing, averaged 12.5 points per game for East Georgia State College last season.
