The 26th annual ESPY Awards took place in Los Angeles tonight.
The ESPYs, which stands for Excellence in Sports Yearly, honors the best of the sporting world with the majority of its awards voted on by fans online.

When, where are the 2018 ESPY Awards?
Although ESPN owns the events, the ESPYs have been televised on ABC since 2015. This year’s ESPYs will air live on ABC at 8 p.m. ET and will be live-streamed online at Watch ESPN and via the Watch ESPN app .
The Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles has hosted the ESPYs each year since 2008, and the awards show returned there again this year. Like other award shows in entertainment, the spectrum’s biggest stars will be in attendance and a red carpet will be rolled out before the event.

Danica Patrick hosted this year’s ESPYs, becoming the first woman to host in the history of the event.

Although many of the awards are decided via fan vote, some are decided beforehand. This year, Jim Kelly will win the Jimmy V Award for his determination in his battle with cancer.
Additionally, Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School coaches Aaron Feis, Scott Beigel and Chris Hixon will be posthumously awarded the Best Coach Award for their selfless acts on Feb. 14 during the tragic school shooting.
Another prominent ESPY award, the Arthur Ashe Courage Award , will go to the Larry Nassar victims for their bravery in coming forward and speaking out against Nassar.
