A slate of 16 men’s and women’s games begins at 5:30 p.m. ET on Nov. 16 with defending women’s champion UConn taking on Ohio State and runs through a 10 p.m. ET tip-off the following night in Chicago with Kansas facing Michigan State.

That game at United Center is the back end of the doubleheader that serves as the centerpiece for the annual basketball extravaganza, now in its eighth season. Kentucky will meet defending NCAA champion Duke in the first game in Chicago.

Beyond those four perennial powerhouses, Maryland and Virginia also will be in action during the marathon, with the Cavaliers leading things off on the men’s side against George Washington on Nov. 16 and the Terrapins facing local rival Georgetown on the 17th.
