The Dodgers’ Gordon had just stolen second base on an Adrian Gonzalez flyout, and Braves RHP Santanta mocklingly tried give him the green light for third. Gordon didn’t bite, and Santana took a short step toward the back of the mound before coming out of his routine.
Gordon does have an 80 percent success rate on stolen bases this season with 52 added bags to his name in 115 games, making him tops in MLB.
Still, openly taunting the MLB’s stolen base leader is a great way to end up with egg on your face. That, or get a balk called.
