The veteran right-hander, who’s competing for a spot in the Chicago rotation, did not start Tuesday’s Cactus League contest vs. the A’s because he got stuck in traffic on his way to Hohokam Stadium in Mesa, Ariz.
Of course, Jackson will have to do something similar in the regular season if he wants to match the legend of Pascual Perez.
