Line: Georgetown -8, Total: 146 ( current NCAA Tournament point spreads and totals )

Georgetown Record: 21-10 ATS: 10-16-2 OVER/UNDER: 13-15 Overview: The Hoyas haven’t performed well as favorites, going 7-13-2 against the spread on the season, including 0-5 ATS in their last five opportunities in the role. When it comes to the total, John Thompson III’s team is trending UNDER, as eight of its last 12 contests have fallen short of the posted number.  Georgetown is 1-5 SU and ATS in its last six NCAA Tournament games.

Eastern Washington Record 26-8 ATS 14-12 O/U 17-6 Overview: In addition to the Eagles’ gaudy record to the OVER, their performance as underdogs will catch the attention of handicappers. Eastern Washington is a nifty 7-2 ATS when catching points, including covers at SMU and at Indiana (an outright win, in fact, on the Hoosiers’ home floor).  EWU has four-straight covers, all as favorites, coming into the Big Dance.

The Linemakers’ lean: We would like to caution anyone taking Eastern Washington lightly. The Eagles have the leading scorer in the nation in Tyler Harvey. Our ratings say Georgetown should be a 13.5-point favorite, but we have too much respect for EWU to take that side. The lean is on the OVER.
