As is tradition, three all-star games are scheduled over the next week, beginning with the East-West Shrine Bowl in St. Petersburg, Florida, on Saturday.

From San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppoli and his teammate Emmanuel Sanders, to Green Bay Packers defensive end Za’Darius Smith,

Philadelphia Eagles guard Brandon Brooks and Buffalo Bills wide receiver John Brown, the East-West Shrine Bowl has previously featured a number of players who have gone to establish themselves in the NFL.

This year is no different, with a crop of talented players looking to put themselves in the shop window.

On the East Team, who will be coached by Tampa Bay Buccaneers inside linebackers coach Mike Caldwell, the standout prospects include Syracuse edge rusher Kendall Coleman, Oklahoma cornerback Parnell Motley and Florida International quarterback James Morgan.

In his first season with the Panthers, Morgan led FIU to second-place in the Conference USA and last year helped the programs to defeat Miami.

In two seasons with the Panthers, he threw for 5,312 yards, 40 touchdowns and 12 interceptions, with a completion percentage of 61.5.

The West, meanwhile, will be coached by Atlanta Falcons offensive assistant Ben Steele and it also features a number of standout prospects.

San Diego State cornerback Luq Barcoo recorded nine interception and 16 pass breakups this season, while Michigan State defensive tackle Raequan Williams racked up seven sacks and 18 tackles for a loss over the last two seasons.

Indiana wideout Nick Westbrook has also caught the eye of observers during practice this week.

The wide receiver finished his collegiate career with 144 catches for 2,226 yards and 16 touchdowns.

A number of NFL head coaches, scouts and executives will be keeping an eye on the proceedings in Florida, including Oakland Raiders head coach Jon Gruden and general manager Mike Mayock.
