The event will see a number of shows and films added to the platform, commemorating all the brands that are included under the Disney+ banner.

Early Disney+ Day Announcements Including Marvel and Star Wars Premieres
Disney+ Day will see films like Thor: Love and Thunder added to the platform, as well as the live-action remake of Pinocchio starring Tom Hanks and a behind-the-scenes documentary about the making of Obi-Wan Kenobi.
A number of specials will also be coming to the streaming platform, including Cars on the Road and Welcome to the Club, the first is set in the Cars universe and the second of which is a short film from The Simpsons.
Marvel will be bringing even more to Disney+ on Disney+ Day as there will also be a new episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, and a documentary about the making of Thor: Love and Thunder to coincide with the film’s streaming debut.
Frozen and Frozen 2 will have special Sing-Along events taking place on Disney+ Day, and the short film Remembering starring Brie Larson will also be released on the platform.
It’s not only films and TV shows being added to Disney+ that viewers should be excited about as it is also expected that Disney+ will make several announcements for future releases on the streamer.
At the 2021 Disney+ Day event shows like Moon Knight and Ms. Marvel were given first-look trailers, while shows like Agatha: Coven of Chaos were announced to be in the works (though at the time it was called Agatha: House of Harkness).
Disney+ has also confirmed there will be events held at the theme parks at Walt Disney World and Disneyland, and special screenings held at select AMC Theatres from September 8–19 to celebrate Disney+ Day.
