Coach John Harbaugh was impressed with the recently acquired safety, who was aggressive on the field after fracturing his left leg in late September.

“He’s (had) a great week,” Harbaugh said. “(He had) great anticipation and great ability to cover ground. He shows up in the right spots on a regular basis. That’s what great safeties do. He’s done a great job.”

Thomas, 30, penned a massive a four-year, $55 million deal with Baltimore in March after spending the past nine seasons in Seattle.

The six-time Pro Bowl player was originally drafted by the Seahawks in 2010. Thomas has made three All-Pro teams and won Super Bowl 48 with the team. He has the 10th most interceptions (28) of any active player in the NFL and a total of 684 combined tackles — the 23rd best in the league.

Thomas played in just four games last season after sustaining a severe leg injury early in the season. He finished with three interceptions and five passes defended.
