A unidentified agent for an Eagles player told NJ.com that Kelly has already lost the support of his players.

“Chip Kelly has lost the team,” he said. “Between the losses and his bulls— methods that aren’t working, I can tell you that the players have tuned him out.”
This sort of echoes what ESPN’s Adam Schefter said in a radio interview Tuesday. When talking about Kelly’s future in Philadelphia, Schefter told Sirius XM Radio that it’s looking bleak.
“The momentum and signs seem to be piling up against a Chip return to Philadelphia,” he said. “I think both sides are sick of each other. I think the fans are tired of him, I think he’s tired of the situation there — just my read from afar … I just think that Chip Kelly, if given a choice, might be comfortable elsewhere.”
These rumors have been going on in the last few weeks as the Eagles have been a letdown this season. During a conference call with the Detroit media earlier this week, Kelly briefly discussed the speculation he could be gone. Here’s how it went down, per the Detroit Free Press.
It’s true. Kelly does have a job, but how long does he have that job? With other openings in the college ranks — such as USC, South Carolina, Missouri and potentially LSU — one has to wonder if the Eagles coach will head back to a university.
Kelly: “What? I don’t — I’m confused on the question.”
Q: “Maybe going back to coaching college football, is that something that would interest you at any point?”
Kelly: “Oh, I have a job.”
